Well , as I sit in another great class…as everyone introduces themselves yet again. The professor has a different way of people introducing each other. He is having other members of the group introduce the person next to them. They are also required to tell a “secret” about the person they are introducing. While sitting and relaxing in my mental oasis, counting the minutes until class is finished, I hear the words, “Jeff’s secret is his first kiss was with HIS sister…..”
To this little tidbit my interest peaked as I awoke from my self-induced coma. However to my astonishment, I notice the individual talking is pointing directly at ME! Then as I focus on the individual sitting to the right of the person talking, I see a much older, rounder, more mature face of a kid I made fun of many times while he was “dating” my sister. I could not believe it. What do you responded to something like that? The teacher then turned to me and asked, “he really knew your sister?”….to which I responded, “ I don’t know if he knew my sister or not, you would have to ask her.” With that the class erupted into laugher…………The moral of the story is, wherever I go, I can’t avoid the people I like the least.
This doesn’t make sense, I know, but I could have gone another year without having the whole class knowing this kid had his “first kiss” with my sister.
