WELL....

It's a GIRL!!!! (or so we think). The doctor is fairly certain baby z is a girl. So, let the shopping commence. In 3 weeks we will have the Official ultrasound, this will verify what we learned today.

Another success

Well as most of you have wondered the outcome of the lawn mowing, here is the update. Well unfortunately the thing started. This meant I had to actually mow, URGGGG. Anyways, I was really surprised it started without much of a hassle at all. I bought this mower about 6 years ago and it really hasnt held up to the weather like one might think. This thing is rusting all over the place. I am surprised the engine hasn't rusted through and fallen off. Here is what I mean.

Seriously the fact that it is still together with all that rust is just amazing to me. Besides mowing, I got quite a bit done on one of my first days off without any real plans. (besides going to the doc in a few minutes to find out the sex of baby z that is). I was able to fertilize the yard, plant some additional grass seed, spray some weed killer in the backyard (unfortunately all i have is weeds, so I wont have a backyard now), change the shocks on the Bronco, talk to the garbageman, and type a few blogs. So all in all it has been a pretty productive morning. Now I need to go wash the oil and dirt off my hands so I can see about heading to Bountiful.

Today is the Day!

Well, today is the highly anticipated day that everyone has been waiting for. Its only a short time before we find out the results. I have partially been dreading this day for a few weeks now, It has a bitter sweet taste for me. There are so many emotions involved, so you never know if its going to workout right or not. Never the less the day has come! IT'S TIME TO MOW THE LAWN. I really do hate mowing, and I really hate mowing for the first time each years. I never know if the stupid mower is going to start or if this is the year I have to buy a replacement. Its good to see that there is a chance that we are heading towards warmer times, but currently its 58 deg out there and I really don't want to mow. However, I honestly have some crap grass patches that are well over a foot tall. So if I want to sell my house without it looking like the Methman's house down the street, I have to mow. Well, I am off to get things started, I hope I dont spend more time trying to start the stupid mower then it takes to mow.
Till next time

Another Class DONE!!!

Last night was the final night of all the regular classes required before I graduate. The class consisted of all the "teams" doing their presentations on the company, which was the basis of the team report. I was not sure if my team was going to have the paper or presentation done before class or not. I had not heard from anyone and I had already completed my portion 2 weeks ago. So instead of doing everyone’s part, I just let them do all the worrying. Well, when I got to class the members of my team were scurrying about trying to put the finishing touches on the PowerPoint and finish formation the paper. The problem was somehow file that contained the paper was corrupt, so the team was freaking out. I really did not care because the teacher already told them just to find an uncorrupted version and send it after class. Anyways, I decided to help the team out and I was able to repair the file so they could turn it in. Then we sat a watched all the other teams present their PowerPoint’s. By time it was my teams turn, I was super tired and I wasnt at the top of my presenting game, but we made it through the process anyways. The instructor was a good teacher other than he is the hardest grading teacher I have had. Oh well, if I pass the class with a grade high enough to have my work pay for it, then I guess it will be fine.
Today, I took a CLEP example for Natural Science. It was a test, which combined biology, physics, chemistry, and astrology. It wasnt too bad except for the chemistry part. I forgot how atomic numbers add and how molecules combine. However, I remembered enough to pass!!!! That means the next class I have is also the last class I have before I graduate. YIPPIE. If I was younger and wiser I would have CLEP'd out of all the classes I could have before even starting college. There are enough subjects to clep out of that you can actually receive your associates without actually going to school besides registering.
Ok, thats all for now. I am going to go celebrate, I’m not sure how since it’s just me and the dogs. Maybe we can all go to RadioShack.
