Since the Creator asked...

I still can't believe the creator doesn't know the sounds of all the wonderful creaters that he made. But I am willing to help him out in exchange for some bonus points since I will need them when scratz reads that I am talking about sloths again, I am going to get stabbed in the back of the head with a wooden dowel. Anyways to answer the question of "what noise do sloth's make?".

The answer is "The three-toed sloth emits a long, high-pitched call that echoes through the forests as "ahh-eeee." Because of this cry these sloths are sometimes called ais (pronounced "eyes")."

Busy week...

I see that most everyone has blogged except for me. It’s good to see that the world still turns as I get buried in work and school. I recently just finished a 14-18 day run of overtime shifts. The reason for the 14-18 instead of just one or the other, but my “day off’ was actually just the period from 6am –Midnight. So according to the schedule, I had a day off but in all reality I didn’t. Anyways, I am back sitting in class, after tonight I have 2 more classes to go before I am done for a little while. I am so excited to be finished.
For all those interested in the housing situation, we still have not sold scratz condo. We have had less interest in it sense we have lowered the price and redone the kitchen. It makes absolutely no sense to me why, but that’s how things go. Our agent has been trying to talk us to putting my house back on the market, but she wants to keep it listed at the lower price. I don’t think it is worth it. With our luck lately, it wouldn’t sell anyways and we would still be in the same predicament as we are now.
I was able to get my car running, everything working, and now registered. Luckily scratz in an alignment specialist, so my car is aligned and I didn’t have to pay someone to do it. Now I don’t have to worry (as much) about getting only 8mpg driving to and from work and school.
For those who are interested, I bought some new ballasts for my lights on my fish tank. They make a major different in the output of the light. I have been having lighting issues for a while now but I haven’t had the time to fix the problems. So my corals haven’t been doing very good and I have lost quite a few. I don’t know if it’s because of a lack of water flow. So to remedy these issues, I will be adding 2 additional powerheads (as scrat calls them water blowers) and adjusting the directions a little better. This weekend, me and scrat are moving the big tank from one side of the living room to the other. I think it’s going to be a huge job but with the 2 wild animals that will be moving in soon, we need it on the other side of the room so it wont fall through the floor with all the jumping around. So in preparations for this move, we have added additional support to the floor. This will hopefully reduce the amount of “bounce” the tank has. When you see 2000+lbs shaking in your front room, it has a tendency to scare you to death. The last thing we need is a huge hole in the floor and a flood to top it off. Now that we have the extra support in place, starting Thursday night or maybe Friday morning, we will start draining the 120g of water, moving the 100+lbs pounds of rock, catching the fish, and moving the coral. I actually just bought me a 12g nano saltwater tank to assist in the process. I am going to store the fish in this until I can put the big tank back together. I am hoping I don’t kill everything in this moving process. This will be a test run for when we have to move the tank from my house to a new house if we ever end up buying one. Then after I get everything moved, I will be turning the 12g nano tank into a coral only tank. It may have a little fish or two but that is it.
Next topic on the agenda, tomorrow is the day that we find out if baby z is a boy or girl. Our appointment has changed to 2pm so we will find out sooner than previously planned. So far the doc has told us is could be one or the other on each of the previous visits. But until then the roller coaster is still going and I think we have the loop-de-loops are still ahead in the ride called pregnancy.
Tonight in class we are still talking about ethics, I didn’t think you could talk for 3 – 4hour sessions on this topic, but this proves that you can. However, I was able to get my school night treat. So that makes up for most of it.

And the final topic of the night…..well you guessed it, SLOTHS. I have received word that someone doenst find these little guys as cute as they are. So for final proof of their cuteness, I have included this.

How can this be one of the 7 deadly sins?

Happy Slothing…
