3D art...

I just redesigned my fish tank and I wanted to share a photo of what it looks like. For this picture I used my brand-new, state-of-the-art, 14.2 mega pixel camera. It is amazing how lifelike this camera makes things look. If I didn't know any better, I would say this looks real enough to print out and create a life size picture to fool all your friends into believing you have this in your house. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do. (you are welcome to reprint this at any time)

Weekend Project...

I will preface this blog entry with…If you want a more exciting blog, please read someone else’s for today. Thanks
Last weekend, scratz and I decided to till up the back yard to get rid of all the sticker bushes that have flourished there. The dogs both limp due to the number of stickers in their feet, I have stickers permanently imbedded in mine, and as of last Thursday, the littlest girl at my place had them in her feet. Since I can’t banish the kids to the backyard if I have to run out every hour and save them when they get thousands of stickers in their feet. Even though this has been a problem for some time, we finally decided to do something about it.
On Friday, I borrowed a tiller from a co-worker of mine. The tiller was probably as old as I am but it still ran like a champ.

We spent the next few hours tilling and weeding the backyard. The lower level of the yard has terrible grass, but we decided to leave it so that the entire backyard wasn’t just a big dirt farm. After playing for a few hour and because it was getting dark, we called it a night. The next day we started playing again. We raked up all the stickers, picked all the weeds, and had even more fun. Since my house backs up against an large empty field, we were able to toss the buckets of weeds and rocks over the back fence. In the process of this, I dropped the bucket over the fence. So I had to climb the 6ft fence to get it. Somehow in the process, I scraped my leg pretty good.

The picture was taken after I cleaned up the damage, but it looked worse the next day.
Scratz had a nice sunburn by the time we were done as well.

I don’t plan on planting any grass out there until the fall. (if we still live here). So until that time, I have a nice dirt patch for the dogs and the kids to play in. This upcomming weekend we have a bunch more to do, we are still trying to get organized after the big move over a month ago.
