Back to work...

Today scratz and I are starting to really feel the effects of having an additional member of our family. Baby k apparently has 3 mothers in addition to scratz herself. Both A. and K. can't seem to get enough of the baby, however this can be somewhat of a over abundance of hands when scratz needs to really tend to the baby. You might have noticed I said 3 mothers but only listed two of them. Well, the third individual that believes they are the baby's mother is JERSEY!!! That silly dog has decided that he needs to be around the baby at all times and if Precious even walks by the baby's bassinet, he growls at her and forces her away. I have never seen a dog that has decided to "own" a baby like this. As all of you can guess, this new protective act by Jersey doesn’t sit well with scrat. I don’t know how long this battle with last, but I have my money on scrat.
Antie Jess dropped into today to spend time with the baby. She also was treated to some entertainment by K. and A. K. was putting on a crazy show and A. was practicing her typing skills for school. I'm sure Jess can testify to the fact that there is not a lack of luxury at the condo.
Scrat had a pretty draining day today with taking care of the baby. She has been on the go basically since 2pm of the day she was released from the hospital. Today, I could tell that all the running around and caring for the 2 kids and the baby were starting to take their toll on her. I tried my best to take some of the pressure off of her but there are only certain things that I can do to help her out. The things that are the most draining are things that I have no physical way of doing them for her. As I said today has been a little more draining since I headed back to work, leaving her to take care of the 3 kids and 2 dogs without the limited assistance that I can give. Luckily I will be off work for the next month to help out with what I can. (I probably just get in the way anyways. Lol)
